I'm an international student studying in USC, I have a knack for exploring and culinary tours. I came across your website when I'm doing an assignment for an Arts and Literature class focusing on LA. I wished I've found it sooner. From a foreigner's perspective, I think this site deserves an award :). Eastside LA has always been famous for its "ghetto" image and a history of gang violence. Hence, I've never had much opinion and feelings towards East LA. However, your site converted me into thinking that it's a food heaven, and now I don't always think about the police when I hear East LA. So keep up what you're doing, you're showing a different side of East LA to foreigners like my friends and myself. I sincerely hope all the best for you. P.S: Since I'm an Asian, I love bubble tea houses. "Half and Half" serves one of the best boba. My friends love their wintermelon with honey boba and pudding, but MY personal favorite is honey pudding milk tea with honey boba! Please keep on doing what you’re doing. So much fun--I always wish I could go back in time to see those shows again and take pictures. What was I thinking?
