I got my Coco Fresco from the guy off exit 43 on the 110, but they’re all around right now. Just ask your local street fruit vendor. The juice is sweet with lots of Vitamin C and Calcium. Delicioso!

bottled coco water (from Asia) has hit the LA Latino community in a big way. Nonetheless, this is just way better than the canned stuff, though I question the sanitation status of this stuff being sold on the street? Thoughts?
Well, you’re asking the wrong person, considering I eat al pastor off the street, but the guy that I bought it from had them packed on ice, and he slices the top off right in front of you. But, yeah, I mean, when you buy something off the freeway, you run a risk.
Totally eat al pastor (cabeza, whatever) off the streets too, but at least that’s cooked? I mean.. Iunno, the stuff I saw recently saw was so freakin’ filty w/ the rusted knives n what not.
They just cut a little hole on top. I don’t think it’s a huge risk.
